Twenty-two Weeks (Jan.10th) - EVMS Riverside

At our last doctor visit in December, we were referred to the Riverside EVMS - Division of Maternal-Fetal Medicine for an additional ultrasound scan. The doctors just as a precaution wanted to check the baby's organs and amniotic fluid level. It appeared that the level of amniotic fluid was low and they wanted to make sure she was growing appropriately. The center at Riverside has better equipment for checking, so that is where we went. We got to see our little girl a second time, and this time they were able to see all of her organs clearly, as well as, take measurements for development levels. Unfortunately, the amniotic fluid levels did not increase as the doctors had hoped. We were assured that she looked to be doing well and was weighing approximately 1 lb 1 oz. Here are the ultrasound pictures. She was breech today.
