Thirty-four Weeks (Apr. 2nd) Eight Months

At this weeks appointment we had an ultrasound done to check the amniotic fluid level. The level has maintained at 10 and the doctors were pleased. I gained another pound in the last two weeks for a grand total of 32 pounds gained. Eddy was finally able to see a 3D ultrasound (while being performed), and Chevelle seems to be very expressive! She appears to be crying or pouting in the first picture. Daddy and I watched as she repeatedly put her hands up to cover her face. Her heart rate was normal even though she was having the hiccups during the exam. Not only could you see my belly jumping with each hiccup, but we could actually hear her hiccupping with the fetal heart rate monitor. It was neat! Mommy’s blood pressure was good at 100/60 (normal for me). So far, we have not been scheduled for a follow-up ultrasound. We go back in two weeks for our next check-up.
