Six Months Old

Chevelle had her 6 month checkup on Nov. 11th. She weighs 16lbs 5.5oz and is 28 inches long. She is a very tall 6 month old! She is so long that she is now in 9 month pants, onsies and sleepers for the length! She was only in 6 month sizes for about 3 weeks. She is proportionately long in both her torso and legs. We think she will take after Daddy in the height department. She is eatting 6 oz of formula on average every 4 hours and is now learning to enjoy Stage 1 baby foods. She seems to like everything we have introduced to her. We think she likes the vegetables more than the fruit with the exception of applesauce, which she can never get enough of! She is a very happy baby, and is starting to develop a very sweet personality. She is eager to watch and learn. She absolutely loves our cat Ozzy, and Ozzy has adapted very nicely to Chevelle. He is not afraid to let her pull on his fur! As her big brother, Ozzy is always checking on her to see where she is and what she is doing. He gets anxious when she starts to cry or fuss and looks to Mom and Dad to help.
